Woodworking with Chip & Co
Learning with fresh & fun woodwork!
Chip & Co is a fine motor skill program that teaches woodworking for children PP to Year 8.
The Chip & Co program is a Friday after school program running for 10 weeks during each school term. Programs are structured to enable students to learn a new skill every week during the different stages of their projects. Chip & Co covers the broad basics of woodworking including the use of safe tools and equipment such as, nails, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, small vices, non electric hand drills and non electric hand saws.
Classes include mixed ages however with only 12 students per class projects are individually focussed for beginner, intermediate or more advanced levels of woodworking. Projects are carefully considered for students so they can explore the tools, gain confidence and share their experiences of woodworking. At Chip & Co students gain from the incredible value and reward of making their own creations for current and future health and life benefits.
